About Me
I graduated from the Medical University in Warsaw. I also hold a post-graduate degree in human resources management from Wyższa Szkoła Finansów i Zarządzania.
Between 2003 and 2018, I worked at the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in Warsaw. From 2003 to 2010 I treated patients with all types of psychiatric diseases and disorders at the general psychiatry ward that did not specialize in any particular illnesses.
From 2010 to 2013, I worked at the Drug Withdrawal Treatment Ward where I was dealing with patients addicted to alcohol, benzodiazepines, drugs and other active substances. Then, from 2013 to 2018, I was an employee of the Children and Youth Psychiatry Clinic, holding the position of an assistant professor.
I completed my doctoral studies in 2016, with my thesis tilted “Assessment of the impact of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids on biochemical and psychometric parameters in female teenagers with anorexia nervosa”. I am the author of numerous publications and research papers.
I am also the author of lectures for doctors specializing in psychiatry and clinical psychology, and training materials related to those areas, used by doctors practicing other fields of medicine. I also act in the capacity of an expert on numerous forums devoted to psychiatry. I am a consultant at Centrum Kompleksowej Rehabilitacji in Konstancin-Jeziorna and have participated in drawing up guidelines for comprehensive treatment of patients suffering from sclerosis multiplex. I am a consultant helping care centers for the elderly.
I am a member of the Polish Psychiatric Association.
I am married and have two children.
